Bradbury, Carol
A multidisciplinary painter, designer, photographer and community based artist, Carol Bradbury challenges our conventional perceptions of reality. Her work explores the juxtaposition of the interpersonal and material worlds and how they intersect the realms of dream, myth and the mundane. “This interplay requires a constant commitment and willingness to witness the unraveling of my current condition as it propels me into transformative action,” says Bradbury. Exploring the ideas of Carl Jung during a five year analysis in Zurich, Switzerland, Bradbury came to understand how imagery found in both everyday life and dreams can be read as metaphors which have the potential to act as powerful gateways to personal growth and transformation.
