Watercolor Workshop at SouthWind Art Gallery
June 1st, 2019 – 2:00-6:00pm
Class Description-
“My approach to watercolor is a controlled wet into wet technique concentrating on pigment characteristics. Subject matter will be a floral still life working from a photograph that I provide. Since the focus of the class will be on painting, a rough sketch will also be provided. This sketch will be transferred to the student’s watercolor paper to save time. Students will also be introduced to a lesser known watercolor medium that is helpful in producing flawless expanses of color. Students will be given handout sheets to take home.”
- Diane Lawrence will be teaching a one-day, four hour watercolor workshop at SouthWind Art Gallery.
- Snacks and wine will be served later in the afternoon.
- 20 spots are available, price per spot is $90 for the four hour workshop.
